POSITION: Facilities Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Monitor the performance of contractors and vendors delivering services on-site.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to prevent major issues and extend equipment lifespan.
• Identify and address health and safety hazards; ensure safe use of facilities and equipment.
  
• Follow safety protocols and scheduled maintenance routines.
  
• Perform minor repairs such as patching, painting, and hardware fixes, and general upkeep of the building and grounds.
  
• Maintain and repair building systems and equipment for optimal operation.
  
• Provide observations and suggestions for the improvement of facility systems and equipment.
  
• Conduct technical and safety audits of managed properties and recommend action plans based on findings.
  
• Assist in managing inventory levels of technical supplies, ensuring the availability of essential items.
  
• Review building permits, including gate passes and work access permits.
  
• Coordinate with third-party service providers for smooth facility operations.
  
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations; organize regular safety audits and training programs.
  
• Identify, assess, and help mitigate risks to protect facility assets and staff.
  
• Support energy-saving efforts by assisting in monitoring and optimizing energy consumption.
  
• Submit technical reports to the immediate head and ensure adherence to technical checklists.
  
• Ensure all documents and records follow ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  
• Recommend improvements to streamline facilities management operations and enhance service.
  
• Participate in company trainings, meetings, seminars, and other corporate activities.
  

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least a vocational diploma/short course certificate or a bachelor’s/college degree.
• At least 1 year of experience as an employee specialized in Maintenance and repair in building and facilities management.
• Willing to work on-site
