Finance Analyst FP&A

Position Summary:
The Finance Analyst (FP&A) supports the organization by providing financial insights, 
forecasting accuracy, and analytical support to guide business decisions. The role is responsible 
for budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, financial modeling, and supporting key business 
stakeholders. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in FP&A and strong 
analytical and communication skills. 
 
Key Responsibilities:

•  Financial Planning & Analysis


• Prepare and update monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts.


• Support the development of the annual budget and long-range financial plans.


• Analyze financial trends, key drivers, and business performance metrics.


• Prepare variance analysis reports comparing actual results vs. budget and forecast.

Reporting 

• Develop and maintain management reports, dashboards, and financial KPIs.


• Consolidate financial results across departments or business units.


• Assist in preparing monthly financial review decks for leadership.

Business Partnering

• Work closely with department heads to understand operational drivers and provide financial 
  insights.


• Provide decision support through scenario modeling, cost-benefit analyses, and ROI calculations.


• Communicate financial insights and recommendations in a clear, business-oriented manner.

Financial Modeling & Analytics 

• Build and maintain financial models (forecasting, sensitivity, what-if scenarios).


• Support pricing analysis, profitability studies, and margin improvement initiatives.


• Help optimize financial processes and automate reporting where possible.

Controls & Process Improvement

• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data and reports.


• Identify opportunities to improve planning and reporting processes.


• Support special projects such as system enhancements, tool implementation, and ad hoc analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.


• Minimum 2 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, budgeting, or corporate finance.


• Experience with financial modeling and business partnering is preferred.


• Strong proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, formulas).


• Skilled in PowerPoint for financial report preparation.


• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) or planning tools (e.g., Adaptive, 
  Anaplan, Power BI) is an advantage.
