Finance Officer (UAE Business Consulting and Services, Hybrid)

Schedule: Monday – Friday (09:00 AM - 06:00 PM GMT)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
• 5 plus years of accounting/bookkeeping experience preferably in the financial services sector.
• ACCA/CIMA/CA/CFA of country equivalent qualifications are essential
• Must be familiar with IFRS/GAAP accounting standards.
• Experience or knowledge of sales and services tax / VAT.
• Strong experience of working with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Experience of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Oracle etc. is an advantage.
• Payroll experience would be highly advantageous.

Nice to Have:

• Big four experience is a plus.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills in English.
• Strong Interpersonal and Organizational Skills

What will you do?

• Function as Finance Officer or accountant for clients of the company.
• Review and maintain clients’ financial statements includes periodic trial balance, balance sheet, income statement and notes to the accounts.
• Review suppliers' invoices, client invoices, fixed assets registers, employee reimbursements, bank statements reconciliation, petty cash, accruals, provisions and so on.
• Assume responsibility for data integrity and entrance of data into client accounting systems when needed.
• Preparation of regulatory returns and timely submission.
• Manage clients to meet external and internal auditor’s needs including ledgers, reports, and schedules.
• Assist with other assigned duties including accounting, internal audit client or administration roles if required
