Job Description - Finance Specialist (Hybrid, PHILIPPINES)


The Finance Specialist provides day-to-day support HKASEAN Finance team, including but not limited to accounts payable, journal entry preparation, balance sheet and profit and loss analysis, reconciliations, statutory filing, and other month end close activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Process and validate accuracy of the accounts payable Invoices and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate posting to Oracle System.
  • Prepare Monthly/Quarterly GST Reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements by comparing the statements with general ledger in a weekly basis.
  • Maintain accounting databases which may include data entry and maintenance of back up documentation.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Prepare journal entries for adjustment related to Accounts Payable.
  • Maintain Monthly Revaluation of Foreign Vendor and Cash Revaluation of balances.
  • Prepare and maintain schedule of weekly Funding Requirements.
  • Assists in the statutory audit for HKASEAN entities.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
 
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), preferred
  • Oracle experience highly preferred
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent quality of work and commitment to high standards
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
 
  • Graduate of BS Accountancy or other related Finance/Banking/Business Management courses
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in accounting, solid experience in Accounts Payable and General Ledger
  • Demonstrated knowledge of accounting processes and cycles. Experienced in managing BIR reporting requirements/compliance.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Hybrid Work Setup
: Enjoy a flexible work environment with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote each week.
Day Shift Schedule: Work from 8 AM or 9 AM.
