Accountant

Location: This is a hybrid opportunity where you will work once a week in the office. Our office location is at 10th and 11th Floor Robinsons Cyber Omega, Pearl Drive, Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines 1605

As an Accountant with Insight, you will hold a position that focuses on internal financial reporting and analysis as well as corporate accounting and reports to the Accountant Team Lead. We will count on you to efficiently prepare and document journal entries and reconciliations that affect revenue and cost of goods sold and reconciliations relating to balance sheet accounts and analyzing sales transactions and applying generally accepted accounting principles. Along the way, you will identify and drive continuous process improvement efforts.

As an Accountant, you will get to:

• Drive the month end close and consolidation process through collaboration and coordination with functional business department owners and corporate accounting personnel.
• Applying the principles of generally accepted accounting principles to analyze and describe balance sheet, revenue and cogs fluctuations relating to distinct business departments.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests related to responsibilities

We are looking for an Accountant with:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• 2 years of experience in corporate / GL accounting function
• SAP is required.
• Blackline is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Advanced MS Excel Skill
