JOB SUMMARY
The FP&A Manager is responsible for the company's financial planning and analysis function.
The FP&A Manager will be responsible for partnering with leadership across the organization to develop accurate forecasts and budgets, analyze financial performance, and translate financial data into actionable insights that drive strategic growth.
This role requires a strong understanding of the IT, Gaming, Financial Services Industry, coupled with exceptional financial planning and analytical skills .
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with business leaders across Accounting, Treasury, IT and Revenue Audit to develop and maintain comprehensive financial models, budgets, and forecasts.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends and variances, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct risk assessments and scenario planning to evaluate potential financial impacts on the business.
- Prepare management reports and presentations, effectively communicating financial data and analysis to leadership.
- Manage the FP&A budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure GAAP compliance and adherence to internal control procedures.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, as well as financial planning and analysis.
- Perform any other tasks as deemed relevant by management.
JOB COMPETENCIES / SPECIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the IT, Financial Services or Gaming Industry.
- Strong understanding of auditing principles and practices
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, key financial performance metrics, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear and concise insights.
- Proven experience in communicating financial information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Excel) and familiarity with BI tools (Power BI preferred).
- Proficiency in MS applications (Power Point, Excel)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the organization.
