Job Description - Florist

FILINVEST COMPANY: CRIMSON RESORT & SPA MACTAN

JOB SUMMARY:

In accordance with the policies, procedure and standards of Chroma Hospitality, Inc. and Crimson Resort & Spa, Boracay, and under the direct supervision of the Executive Housekeeper, the Florist is responsible in preparing all floral decorations for Public areas, Outlets, All Function Events and VIP rooms. To set the standards using the highest quality of materials to ensure flower/floral arrangements have the best possible life span and to perform all key areas responsibilities such as:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Meets customers whenever possible.
  • Practices maximum flexibility and creativity when dealing with special customers regarding floral arrangements
  • Liaise with Housekeeping Supervisors for requirement of VIP flower arrangement for arrival rooms or for any other special occasion.
  • Offers all possible assistance to guest in terms of floral arrangements
  • Reports any lost and found items to Lost & Found in-charge immediately
  • Adheres to all special request for floral requirements request by our guest or an event/function that needs floral arrangements
  • Immediately reports and turns over found articles to Housekeeping Office in accordance with established procedures.
  • Uses all equipment as specified in operating manuals or as indicated during equipment usage training to ensure a longer equipment life span.
  • Cleans up equipment before and after use, following proper cleaning procedures.
  • Keeps Florist room neat and adequately supplied at all times
  • Keeps pantry linen and supply closet neat and in working order at all times
  • Submits productivity worksheets to the Executive Housekeeper at the end of the month
  • Implements safety standards and conducts training
  • Communicates standards to staff.
  • Analyzes accident statistics.
  • Nurtures accident prevention culture.
  • Conducts regular inspections of all areas within the department
  • Constantly monitors cleanliness standards in the area.

  • Reports suspicious looking persons in the areas to any Security Staff and/or the 
  • Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper
