Formulation Specialists/ RND Officer

We are seeking a Formulation Specialist / R&D Officer to lead the development and improvement of product formulations in the FMCG or non-food industry, based in Manila. This role is responsible for researching ingredients, testing formulations, ensuring product stability and compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams from concept to commercialization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize formulations for new and existing products based on performance, cost, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct laboratory testing, stability studies, and sensory evaluations.
• Source and evaluate raw materials in coordination with the purchasing and QA teams.
• Work closely with marketing, production, and QA teams to align product specs and timelines.
• Document all R&D procedures and maintain technical data sheets and formulation records.
• Ensure compliance with local and international product safety and labeling standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or related fields.
• At least 2–4 years of experience in product formulation and R&D (preferably in cosmetics, personal care, home care, or food).
• Strong knowledge of raw materials, formulation chemistry, and regulatory standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and project coordination skills.
• Laboratory and formulation testing experience is required.
