HFZ is a boutique IP law firm located in the heart of Chicago, specializing in United States and foreign patent prosecution and counseling.  Our team of patent practitioners includes many individuals having years of industry experience as engineers and inventors prior to becoming patent attorneys.  A combination of significant real world engineering experience and legal experience results in a highly focused and skilled team of practitioners who provide services to numerous Fortune 500 technology companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing patent application file histories to identify prior art
• Assembling prior art data and entering data for validation
• Retrieving copies of Non-Patent Literature and Foreign References
• Assemble prior art data for patent application files. 

Qualifications

• High level of accuracy and attention to details
• Familiarity with patents, US and/or foreign
• Familiarity with SharePoint and Excel
• Effectively communicate in English, written and oral
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
• The candidate must also be reliable, responsive, and able to work well in a tea
• Must be proactive and with good multitasking skills

Working hours 

Monday to Friday - Nightshift
