Full Stack Developer

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer (1 year contract, potential to extend). This role will be responsible for designing, developing,
and maintaining scalable digital solutions and applications, including AI-driven tools and internal projects that enhance Aurecon’s competitiveness.

You will work across the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)—from inception and design to build, testing, deployment,
and ongoing support - ensuring technical quality, security, and reliability in all deliverables. The role requires strong collaboration with international teams
and a focus on delivering innovative, high-quality software products.

Experience 
Working in a professional software development environment 
Knowledgeable in Agile Methodology to deliver, and support, software products  
Participating in software development, prototyping, and code review with our international development teams to build scalable products  
Understanding of modern software and product delivery practices 
Providing robust coding practices, solid unit/component test coverage, and debugging code 
Ensuring solutions and implementations are reliable, scalable, maintainable, secure and supportable 
 
 
Technical Skills  
Use your knowledge from over 3 years of experience in software development to work independently as necessary 
Be comfortable building modern frontend solutions using ReactJS, NextJS frameworks with Typescript 
Enjoy building backend services using the following tech stacks: Node.js with Typescript, Python and Python Flask
Experience with modern AI development in Python and pedantic_ai, langchain,
Understanding of RAG, embeddings, vector search, LLM apis (openAI, Anthropic, Google)
Exposure to relational and non-relational databases (MS SQL, cosmosDB)
Best practices with REST APIs
Good understanding of data model & database schema design
