Fullstack Developer / AWS CERTIFICATION

• As a Fullstack Developer at Octal Philippines Inc., you will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and services. You will leverage your expertise to integrate various components and ensure optimal performance and security across reliable solutions.
• Key responsibilities include:
• Developing front-end and back-end features using modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Implementing and managing APIs and serverless architecture using AWS services, specifically leveraging AWS Lambda, SAM, and CloudFormation.
• Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop innovative solutions.
• Ensuring application security and performance optimization, adhering to best practices such as OWASP.
• Conducting thorough testing and debugging to enhance software quality and reliability.
• Providing mentorship to junior developers and contributing to team knowledge sharing.

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• AWS Certified Developer - Associate or higher is a must.
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on JavaScript frameworks such as Node.js, AngularJS or React.
• Proficient in TypeScript and MySQL.
• Experience building and deploying RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Docker and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, including OOP and SOLID principles.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, PHPUnit) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team.
