Job Title: Accounting Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. This role involves developing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The Accounting Manager supervises staff and works closely with other departments and senior management.
The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing and supervising payroll operations, ensuring the accurate processing of employee compensation, compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and maintaining internal controls. This role often serves as the liaison between HR, accounting, and external vendors.

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
  • Accounts payable/receivable
  • General ledger
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Tax compliance
  • Inventory accounting
  • Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Coordinate audits and provide necessary information to external auditors.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Work with external vendors, tax advisors, and consultants as needed.
• Evaluate accounting systems and software for potential improvements or upgrades.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, or similar role.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• CPA certification or equivalent.
• Experience in Automotive industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and financial automation tools.
