Location: This is a hybrid opportunity where you will work once a week in the office. Our office location is at 10th and 11th Floor Robinsons Cyber Omega, Pearl Drive, Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Metro Manila, Philippines 1605

As a General Ledger Accountant Lead with Insight, you will hold a position responsible in managing monthly /quarterly/annual accounting close, P&L reviews, balance sheet recs, journals, assist in preparation and review of tax and stat accounts, monthly sales report review and adjustments, US GAAP and IFRS knowledge and reporting, internal and external audits, and cash flow management. Along the way, you will take on additional work as may be required and serve as a backup for other finance tasks.

As a General Ledger Accountant Lead, you will get to:

• Month end responsibilities various other month end / quarter end activities to ensure timely and accurate closure of month end/quarter end in accordance with various USGAAP /SOX requirements
• Responsible for all aspects of accounting for APAC entities– including and not limited to accuracy of P&L, balance sheet rec prep and review, journal postings, assisting in prep and filing of statutory accounts, tax returns, GST returns, other regulatory obligations, dealing with external lawyers for local filings, matters, dealing with external accountants and tax agents
• Review and process T&E accruals, monthly Intercompany reconciliations, auditing vendor bank account changes and posting various monthly journals for APAC entities

We are looking for a General Ledger Accountant Lead with:

• CPA/CA equivalent qualification is preferred but not reqired. 
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in general ledger accounting in SAP environment
• SAP experience is required
• Strong communication skills (verbal/written)
