Job Description - General Manager - Hotel and Casino

Work Setup: Office Based

Work Category: Full Time

Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday 8 am to 5 pm

Job Summary:
The General Manager (GM) will oversees the property’s overall operations and profitability. This includes overseeing all aspects of the hotel and casino operations, ensuring high customer service standards, staff management, driving sales and marketing strategies, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The general manager will work to create an inviting, entertaining, and safe environment for guests while also encouraging employees to be productive and positive.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Management:
-Oversee the daily operations of both the hotel and casino.
-Ensure high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
-Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
-Monitor and maintain the facilities to ensure they are in optimal condition.

Financial Management:
-Develop and manage the annual budget.
-Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve financial goals.
-Analyze financial statements and take corrective actions as necessary.
-Oversee revenue management and pricing strategies.

Staff Management:
-Recruit, hire, and train management staff.
-Develop and implement staff training and development programs.
-Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
-Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Sales and Marketing:
-Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies to attract guests and increase revenue.
-Work with the marketing team to promote the hotel and casino through various channels.
-Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and community organizations.

Compliance and Safety:
-Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including gaming laws.
-Implement and monitor safety and security protocols to protect guests and staff.
-Stay informed about industry trends and regulations to ensure the property is up-to-date.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
-Minimum of 10 years in the hotel or casino industry, with at least 5 years in a General Manager role.
-Proficiency in Chinese or Mandarin is a plus.
-Willingness to relocate to Boracay.
-Ability to start immediately.
