JOB DESCRIPTION
The General Warehouse Specialist involves a range of
responsibilities related to supporting warehouse operations.
Key Functions are:
1. Dispatch Responsibilities:
- Checking the completeness and accuracy of stocks to be
withdrawn before loading onto delivery trucks. - Ensuring all delivery-related documents (Delivery
Receipts/Sales Invoices, Certificate of Meat Inspection, Health Certificate,
etc.) are complete and accurate before loading. - Observing proper handling of stocks during loading onto
trucks. - Dispatching trucks once all delivery-related requirements
are met. - Managing pick-up transactions by clients from the warehouse
with proper documentation.
2. Assisting Warehouse Dispatcher:
- Assisting the Warehouse Dispatcher in tasks such as checking
stocks for volume withdrawals. - Printing and endorsing delivery receipts and invoices when
the Warehouse Dispatcher is busy in the loading area.
3. Picking Responsibilities:
- Taking charge of picking activities after the shift of the
Warehouse Picker when needed. - Assisting the Warehouse Picker in actual picking of stocks.
4. Segregation of Picked Stocks:
- Taking charge of segregating picked stocks per truck after
the Warehouse Picker's shift, as required.
5. Assisting Warehouse Inbound Specialist:
- Coordinating with the Supply Chain department for incoming
shipments from suppliers. - Liaising with cold storage service providers regarding
incoming shipments. - Creating Inward Forms and notifying the cold storage service
provider. - Handling documentation for shipments upon the arrival of
container vans (CVs) at the cold storage premises. - Coordinating with inspection authorities (NMIS/BFAR) for
inspection of CVs. - Assisting in the inspection of stocks with the Quality
Assurance Specialist. - Recording weights and measurements of boxes.
- Tallying quantities with the cold storage service provider's
representative forr accurate recognition in Item Receipt IR. - Creating Item Receipt based on aligned quantities.
- Keeping and filing inbound and outbound documents.
6. Cycle Count and Reconciliation:
- Conducting cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy.
- Reconciling inventory discrepancies and ensuring accurate
record-keeping.
7. Daily Inventory Check:
- Checking and balancing daily inventory balances and
transactions to ensure accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- With Bachelor's Degree of any 4-year course related to the
field - logistics, supply chain management, business administration, operations
management etc. - Preferably with background and experience as warehousing
stock control in the documentation field - Solid computer skills including experience with Microsoft
Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Highly organized and detail-oriented with an ability to meet
deadlines - Strong typing skills and experience with data entry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with the team.
- Capacity to identify and solve issues related to inventory,
documentation, and logistics.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From Php16,000.00 per month
8-hour shift Monday - Saturday
