GIS Operator

Geodata Systems is looking for a GIS Operator who will contribute to the  implementation of data service projects by performing the tasks assigned in accordance with the quality standards of the company.

Minimum Qualifications

1. College Level, Geography, Engineering, IT or Computer related course
2. Graduate of 2-year course
3. Clear eyesight
4. Willingness and ability to report onsite in Bacolod City

Responsibilities

1. Create and edit spatial data (vectors) and attributes.
2. Check quality and ensure that output datasets meet requirements and defined criteria for acceptance.
3. Create metadata.
4. Extract features from imageries.
5. Convert GIS data from one format to another.
6. Collect GPS from the field using GPS devices.
7. Edit and update data from the field using mobile apps and devices.
8. Design maps for printing, publishing and application consumptions.
