GIS Specialist-Enterprise Solutions

JOB DESCRIPTION

Geodata Systems, the premier provider of smart mapping and spatial analytics solutions in the Philippines, is looking for a GIS Specialist for Enterprise Solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Formulates ArcGIS System Design and Architecture based on client requirements, non-functional requirements, and constraints.
• Plans, designs, and provides hardware and infrastructure recommendations based on performance requirements, user workflows, and constraints.
• Installs and configures ArcGIS components according to the system architecture
• Interviews stakeholders and gathers requirements. Understands and analyzes clients business requirements, business/use cases.
• Designs applications based on functional and non-functional requirements. 
• Creates and configures GIS web applications, mobile applications and dashboards using ArcGIS configurable tools and apps. 
• Designs Geodatabases or Databases based on client requirements and application requirements. 
• Designs and configures Enterprise Geodatabase management and maintenance workflows, which may include Versioning, Replication, Indexing, Archiving, Backup and Restore, and other QA/QC Procedures. 
• Conducts presentations/demos to demonstrate capabilities of ArcGIS software and apps 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of BS Geography, Geology, Environmental Sciences, Geodetic Engineering, Computer Science, IT and related courses.
• At least 5 years of experience in ArcGIS Platform
• At least 3 years of experience in ArcGIS Enterprise, Application Configuration and Design
• At least 3 years of experience in using 1 or more of the following databases:
• SQL Server
• Oracle
• PostgreSQL
• SAP HANA

•  At least 1 years of experience in Business Analysis and System Architecture. 
• Preferably with Esri Desktop and/or Enterprise Certification
• Familiar with ArcGIS Architecture
• Knowledgeable in using MS Visio and MS Project
