Job Description - Graphic Artist

FILINVEST HOTEL: QUEST HOTEL AND CONFERENCE CENTER - CEBU


POSITION SUMMARY:

The Graphic Artist is reasonable for delivering all hotel artworks including hotel collaterals, signages, advertising materials and promotion creative.

SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. BRAND IMPLEMENTATION- Ensure that all hotel artwork adheres to brand standard.

  1. Ensures all collaterals adhere to brand guidelines by following the graphic standard manual.
  2. Develops creative that reflect the brand culture and projects the image of the brand.

2. CREATIVE CONCEPT- Develop and create hotel creatives/artwork for hotel promotions.

  1. Participates in conceptualizing of artworks together with the Public Relations Manager and the department.
  2. Handles the execution of the artwork requirements of the hotel as delegated by the Public Relations Manager.
  3. Implements all photography/photo coverage requirements for documentation and press release purposes.
  4. Maintains professional business confidentiality.
  5. Coordinates the design and printing of outlet menus and other Food & Beverage collaterals.
  6. Conceptualizes and takes charge of the production of hotel posters.
  7. Coordinates with printers and papers and art suppliers to ensure the hotel's needs are responded to in a timely manner.

3. ADMINISTRATION- Keeps all marketing and public relations files.

  1. Maintains and updates sales and marketing inventory.
  2. Keeps all marketing files and collaterals – soft copy and hard copy on file.
  3. Keeps on file all hotel photos.
  4. Maintains cleanliness of the electronic signage within the hotel.
  5. Requests and maintains par stock of art materials being used.
  6. Coordinates with the staff from other departments for completion of art requirements.
  7. Regularly attends meetings of the Director of Communications.

4. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Keeps immediate superior promptly and fully informed of all problems of unusual matters of significance.
  2. Prepares reports as necessary to develop a more informative database for improved Management decision-making and critical evaluation of work activities.
  3. Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other Hotel employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
  4. At all times, project a favorable image of Quest Hotel.

5. OTHER DUTIES

  1. Performs other duties and functions which may be assigned by the immediate superiors.
