Job title: Amazon Image and Product Designer

Type of employment: Full-Time

Shift Schedule: Flexible (Daily 1-2 hours of overlap with the client's time zone)

High-level Summary

Seeking an experienced Amazon Image & Product Designer to create high-converting visual assets that enhance product listings, strengthen brand presence, and drive sales on Amazon.

This role will support product visuals across multiple divisions and brands, producing Amazon-ready creative assets including product photography, hero images, infographics, A+ Content, Brand Story modules, storefront assets, and occasional product videos. Ideal candidates have direct Amazon experience, strong knowledge of Amazon image requirements and best practices, expertise in mobile-first design principles, and the ability to manage creative projects independently.

Objective of This Role

• Create compelling Amazon-focused visual content that improves product discoverability, conversion rates, and overall brand presentation.
• Ensure all product imagery and content meet Amazon's technical requirements and best practices.
• Support existing products and new product launches through high-quality creative assets.
• Consolidate creative production into a dedicated long-term design resource supporting multiple company divisions.
• Deliver designs optimized for mobile-first shopping experiences and marketplace performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize main hero images with white backgrounds and
• conversion-focused product presentations for new and existing ASINs.
• Create secondary product listing images, infographics, feature callouts, and copy-assisted visuals that clearly communicate product features and benefits.
• Photograph products for Amazon listings when needed and edit product images for marketplace use.
• Develop and maintain A+ Content and Premium A+ Content modules for product launches and listing refreshes.
• Design Brand Story modules that communicate brand identity and customer value propositions.
• Create and maintain Amazon Storefront and Brand Store pages across multiple brands.
• Produce occasional short-form product videos and additional visual assets when applicable.
• Ensure all creative assets align with Amazon marketplace standards and brand guidelines.
• Apply mobile-first design principles to maximize effectiveness across customer devices.
• Collaborate with leadership, marketing, ecommerce, brand, and product teams to execute creative strategies and incorporate feedback.
• Support Amazon creative initiatives across multiple product categories.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Continuously monitor Amazon design trends, platform updates, and competitor best practices to improve creative performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3–5 years of graphic design experience supporting Amazon Vendor Central accounts.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Extensive knowledge of Amazon image requirements, compliance standards, and marketplace best practices.
• Proven experience designing Amazon product listings, A+ Content, Brand Story modules, and storefront assets.
• Proven portfolio showcasing Amazon product creatives and A+ Content.
• Experience with product photography and creating product images for ecommerce marketplaces.
• Strong understanding of visual merchandising, mobile-first design principles, and Amazon customer behavior.
• Strong eye for design, layout, visual hierarchy, and product storytelling, with the ability to create compelling creatives that drive engagement and conversions.
• Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency.
• Excellent time management, organization, and project prioritization skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Experience creating Amazon product videos and multimedia assets.
• Experience supporting multiple brands or product categories.
• Experience supporting high-volume product creative production.
• Ability to combine photography, design, and light copywriting into a cohesive workflow.
• Prior experience working with consumer products, including baby products, accessories, health and beauty products, or similar categories.
