JOB SUMMARY
A Presentation Designer is, at their core, a Graphic Designer who is responsible for producing exciting and innovative presentations for our clients. You would be a part of the design process from start to finish, working on the concept of the design as well as its overall production. Some projects would require you to work independently while others would involve working with a team. Regardless of the project, you would always have the full support of the entire design team.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create presentation materials, multimedia PowerPoint presentations and marketing materials.
- Select format, typography, photography and/or illustrations for the most effective means of communicating a message.
- Work closely with team members during the life of the project, which includes originating concept and choosing media, preparing and presenting creative proposals, setting realistic timelines, tracking project progress and completing project on deadline.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Exceptional understanding of basic design principles.
- Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (mainly Illustrator and Photoshop).
- Ability to produce a broad range of collateral materials, e.g. layouts, brochures, display visuals and imagery for presentations.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to both personal and professional development.
- Well-organized and able to prioritize between multiple different tasks.
- Desire to excel and grow within and with the company.
- Ability to work both independently as well as with a team.
- Constructive and positive attitude.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field with equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of design experience, preferred.
- Some experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to speak on the phone and/or in person.
