Solaire Resort Entertainment City Position Summary Responsible for organizing, coordinating and planning of the restaurant reservation. Welcoming, assisting and providing high quality service to guests at all times. Ensure the guest experience is top-notch. Job Responsibilities · Updating of guest profiles log sheet including forecasted VIP arrivals · Complete guest service log daily · Can perform guest and supplies inventory · Completing all opening, closing and hygiene checklists. · Ensure that reservations of the day match the dining set-up per table · Respond to all guest inquiries received via email and SMS · Taking guests food and drink orders according to operational standards, ensuring accuracy of items ordered and guest preferences when communicated, and up-selling whenever possible · Print menus for the restaurant including special artwork requests from guests · Ensure all promotional collaterals are up to date such as LED display, website, bill talkers and table talkers · Memorize menu, daily specials and monthly promotions · Can helpfully provide reservation details to service and culinary team · Escort guests to their preferred or allocated table · Ensure all hygiene standards and procedures are met Requirements Key Competencies and Skills Can contribute and recommend strategies to improve business performance Outstanding communication skills Can administer cashiering functions after completion of the training Can facilitate online deposits from guests using IPay88 Can confidently provide information on the restaurant promotions, menus and other offerings Promote specials through suggestive selling and cross selling Working knowledge of relevant available systems such as Microsoft, Birchstreet, Agylysis, Opentable, etc. Knowledge in F&B operations, Forbes Travel Guide standards and quality pointsUnderstands concept of guest service
