Position Title: Head, Enterprise Architect

Job Summary: 

The Enterprise Architecture Head works under the general direction and supervision of the Head, IT Delivery and from time to time, directly from the Group Head for Information Technology.   The position has significant involvement in planning the Bank’s architecture and IT strategy. 

The Department Head manages the personnel focusing on evaluating enterprise wide IT solutions and tools, maintenance of IT enterprise standards, and managing common platform that would be used bank-wide, and aligned to by IT projects. He initiates and fosters effective liaisons with other ITG divisions, segment business executives and concerned IT committees. 

Key Responsibilities

• Guides the Enterprise Architecture Department in the definition of project scope, objectives and requirements involving enterprise solutions. 


• Serves as advisor to senior business management on business and information integration strategies


• Drive the discussion of solutions during the Architecture Review Board


• Reviews the Bank’s IT enterprise architecture standards.


• Oversee the evaluation of the enterprise technology solutions available in the market that can be shared bank-wide together with the Enterprise Solution Department.


•  Drives the definition of the IT enterprise architecture strategies, policies and framework 


• Drives the collaboration with different ITG divisions on the preparation of technology roadmaps and in optimizing management of infrastructure


• Deploys division manpower resources accordingly. Handles personnel management including recruitment and selection, supervision, disciplinary actions and performance appraisals. Develops and trains staff to ensure adequate and current skill sets.


• Recommends personnel training and development strategies for departmental personnel, ensuring that personnel’s technical knowledge and skills are current. 


• Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
