Head of Accounting and Finance Ops

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Finance team as our new Head of Accounting & Financial Operations.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing tokey financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. The idealcandidate will possess strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Youll be working closely with stakeholders across the business to support strategic decision-making and ensure financial accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications: 

- A bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is essential.
- Recognised accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CMA, CPA or equivalent).
- At least 810 years of progressive accounting experience, with 35 years in a
leadership role.
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, auditing, and compliance (exposure to IFRS and US GAAP desirable).
- A proactive approach combined with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lead and mentor those around you.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems (NetSuite/SAP preferable).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Agility with a problem-solving mindset, recommending best practice and adapting to current business context.
- Strong working knowledge of accounting and operations processes / practices and an appreciation of how to evolve towards best in class using systems and automation.
