About Philcare Pharma
Philcare Pharma,
Inc. (PPI) now in its 15th year of operation is an established mid-size
pharmaceutical company with nationwide operations, expanding aggressively in
niche, hospital-based critical care solutions. We bring to the Philippine
market specialty medicines and devices in critical care, cardiovascular,
anti-infectives, anesthesia and pain, and advanced wound care — therapies
chosen because they address unmet clinical needs and because few others can
supply them.
Our business model
is built on scientific depth and clinical partnership with the medical
community. Our field teams work alongside intensivists, cardiologists,
anesthesiologists, and infectious disease specialists in the country's leading
hospitals, supported by a dedicated Medical Affairs function, structured
training, and a performance driven culture that values integrity and competency
in every interaction.
We are growing on
every axis: new molecules, new therapeutic areas, new hospital channels, and a
national field force organized for depth of engagement. Our ambition is to be
the most trusted specialty healthcare partner to Philippine hospitals and clinicians,
and we are building the organization, systems, and leadership to match that
ambition. The Head of People & Capability is central to that build.
The Opportunity
This is a newly created senior leadership position with a seat on
the Management Committee and a direct line to the General Manager. You will
lead three functions as one integrated People & Capability organization:
Human Resources, Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE), and Training &
Development (T&D).
Few roles in Philippine pharma offer this breadth. You will shape
how PPI attracts, develops, deploys, rewards, and retains its people; you will
own the people architecture behind the commercial plan — territory and target
design, sales incentive programs, grading and career tracks, key account
selling capability, and leadership development for field managers; and you will
act as the General Manager's principal advisor on organization and talent. You
will have the mandate, the budget, and direct access to the owners to build a
function designed for the company's next decade.
What You Will Own
- One people strategy and
operating plan spanning HR, SFE, and T&D, aligned to PPI's annual business
plan

coaching curricula for Medical Representatives, Key Account Specialists, and
District Sales Managers; product and scientific training in partnership with
Medical Affairs
- The company-wide performance
management cycle and the capability of managers to set objectives, coach, and
lead
- Organization design and change
management for PPI's expansion into new therapeutic areas and channels
- The development of your own
team — SFE Manager, Training Officer, and the HR team — into independent
functional leaders
