Scope & Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of React Developers, ensuring their professional growth and development.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Technical Leadership

• Define and drive the technical strategy for React development.
• Oversee the architecture and design of React applications, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, performance, and security.
• Stay current with the latest React development trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Help advance architecture and abstractions allowing client code to continue to scale and feature teams to continue to deliver with ever increasing autonomy.
• Mentor team members on design patterns and code reusability.

Project Management

• Work closely with Product Management and Project Management teams to plan, execute, and deliver React projects on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, design, and QA, to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.

Hands-on Development, Low-level Coding, and DevOps

• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and observe Scrum ceremonies.
• Lead coding activities, peer and advanced code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Ensure code quality through continuous integration, automated testing, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Improve and maintain the mobile apps CI and CD infrastructure and pipelines.
• Develop libraries and foundations in areas such as testing, analytics, and other relevant domains.
• Develop high-quality software in Swift programming language.
• Create scalable software systems.

Stakeholder Communication

• Communicate project status, technical decisions, and risks to stakeholders.
• Liaise with senior management to align with business goals and objectives.
• Represent the React team in meetings and presentations.

Operational Reliability

• Ensure the performance and operational reliability of applications.
• Create end-to-end system integration design and deployment strategies.
• Foster a collaborative development environment and encourage new ideas for solving common problems.
• Build and maintain developer tools to help product team work effectively.
• Seek feedback from the development team to enhance the overall developer experience.

Quality Assurance

• Lead design, code, and testing inspections throughout the life cycle to identify issues.
• Create and implement quality assurance processes to ensure that high standards are maintained.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 8 years in developing React native mobile applications in Swift.

Minimum of 5 years of management experience in the same position.

Minimum of 4 years in leading and guiding technical teams.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other front-end technologies.

Strong understanding of React frameworks (e.g. NextJS), best practices, and design principles.

Proven experience in building and deploying web applications using React and other modern web technologies.

Strong experience in architecture and design of scalable and maintainable web applications.

Experience with RESTful APIs, various React Frameworks, third-party libraries, and integration.

Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a fast-paced startup environment.

Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects related to React development.
