Pointwest Innovations Corporation is seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking Head of Testing to lead and scale our Quality Assurance (QA) function. This strategic leadership role is responsible for setting the QA vision, driving automation-led testing strategies, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions for our clients.
The Head of Testing works closely with engineering, product, and business leaders to embed quality across the software development lifecycle while fostering a culture rooted in Leadership, Excellence, and Innovation, and aligned with Pointwest’s values of Agility, Accountability, Collaboration, and Customer Centricity.
Delighting Our Customers & Stakeholders
Ensure high product quality through robust functional, integration, performance, and security testing.
Partner with cross-functional teams to align testing strategies with product and delivery goals.
Communicate testing plans, risks, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders.
Growing Our Business
Support business growth by strengthening client confidence through testing excellence.
Contribute testing expertise to client engagements, proposals, and solution designs.
Help position Pointwest’s QA capability as a competitive advantage.

Define and continuously improve QA frameworks, standards, and best practices.
Drive an automation-first mindset, including CI/CD integration.
Establish and track quality and operational metrics to enable continuous improvement.

Foster a culture of learning, innovation, accountability, and quality ownership.
Client satisfaction and product quality metrics
Defect leakage, test coverage, and automation effectiveness

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience in QA and test automation.
5+ years of people management and QA leadership experience.
Strong expertise across functional, integration, performance, and security testing.
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications
ISTQB / ISEB Test Manager Practitioner or equivalent certification.
Experience working in large, complex, or distributed team environments.
Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and modern development practices.
Proven ability to define and execute long-term testing strategies.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Prior exposure to business development or client-facing engagements is an advantage.
