Head Teacher

Job Description

• Oversee daily operations of the preschool and be responsible for managing the schedules, curriculum, staff, and budget

• Ensure that the curriculum and school policies are being implemented as expected and meets the standards

• Evaluate and monitor teacher performance to ensure that students receive high-quality instruction

• Interview, train and supervise teaching and support staff

• Maintain a positive and inclusive school culture that fosters a love of learning and promotes the social and emotional development of all children

• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create a positive school culture and promote a sense of community among staff, students and families

• Manage the school budget, including ensuring that all resources are allocated effectively and efficiently

• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers, addressing any concerns or questions they may have

• Ensure that the school complies with all licensing, health and safety regulations and policies

• Oversee and lead planning and implementation of school events

• Attend meetings with school board and other stakeholders to represent the school and ensure its interests are represented

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or any related field

• Must be a LET passer

• At least 5 years experience in a preschool or early childhood education setting.

• Experience in instructional leadership and staff management

• Excellent command of English, both oral and written

• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents

• Knowledgeable in the use of the computer, especially Microsoft Office Programs

• Must be fully vaccinated, willing to work in Talayan Village Quezon City

Schedule

• Full time, 8am 5pm, Monday to Friday, Saturdays as needed
