The person in this role will help build and maintain a reliable PRN nurse pool while coordinating closely with the care team to ensure client coverage needs are met.

Recruit nurses for pediatric home care assignments, PRN coverage, and ongoing staffing needs.
Conduct phone and video interviews to evaluate candidate experience, communication skills, availability, and fit.
Maintain candidate pipelines and ensure applicants are followed up with in a timely manner.
Build, organize, and maintain a pool of PRN nurses for short-term, urgent, or flexible coverage needs.
Coordinate with internal care team members to understand staffing needs, open cases, and coverage priorities.
Support staffing coverage by matching qualified nurses to available shifts or cases.
Track candidate status, interview outcomes, availability, and follow-up notes in recruiting systems or spreadsheets.
Communicate professionally with applicants throughout the hiring process.
Help identify recruiting challenges, pipeline gaps, and opportunities to improve candidate flow.
Direct recruiting experience is required.
Experience sourcing candidates and conducting phone or video interviews.
Strong communication skills, especially when engaging nurses and healthcare professionals.
Ability to maintain candidate pipelines and manage consistent follow-up.
Strong organization and attention to detail.
Ability to work with urgency, especially when supporting staffing coverage needs.
Comfortable using recruiting tools, job boards, email, spreadsheets, and applicant tracking systems or similar platforms.
Ability to coordinate with internal teams and communicate updates clearly.
Experience recruiting nurses is preferred.
Home care or healthcare recruiting experience is preferred.
Experience recruiting for PRN, part-time, per diem, or shift-based healthcare roles.
Familiarity with pediatric home care staffing needs.
Experience supporting care team coordination, staffing coverage, or healthcare scheduling.
Prior experience building talent pipelines for hard-to-fill healthcare roles.
