Work Set-up: Permanent WFH

Shift: 2:00AM to 11:00AM Tuesday to Saturday (Philippine time)

Roles and Responsibilities:

The HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates, bids, and proposals for the installation, repair, and replacement of HVAC systems. This role requires a deep understanding of HVAC systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to read and interpret contract documents. The Estimator must be self-sufficient and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.

• Prepare estimates, bids and proposals for the installation, repair, and/or replacement of equipment and systems.
• Review published plans and specifications, assess existing conditions that may affect the estimate, meet with client/owner as needed.
• Prepare accurate take-offs to determine material, component, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
• Estimate all direct and indirect “in-house” labor needs.
• Consult with Field Supervisors, Project Managers, Coordinators, Safety Manager and other company personnel as needed.
• Formulate pricing and draft estimates and proposals using approved cost factors, processes, following established procedures.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts involving estimates, bids, and proposals
• Participate in job turnover meetings.
• Respond to requests for assistance and support from other company personnel involved in the estimating of construction, repair, or maintenance of mechanical systems and/or equipment state-wide.
• Review industry publications, monitor technological changes/improvements and new developments in the industry.
• Make recommendations on ways to improve workflow and increase productivity and efficiency.
• Develop positive business relationships with vendors, clients, owners and subcontractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven track record of preparing accurate and competitive estimates for various projects, including installations, repairs, and replacements.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting contract documents, specifications, and other related materials to ensure that all project requirements and constraints are accurately captured in the estimates.
• Familiarity with construction and mechanical codes and standards to ensure compliance and accuracy in all estimates.
• Conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work product.
• Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills, including ability to effectively interact with operation personnel and management.
• Ability to work independently, collecting and processing data and information, formulating conclusions and making recommendations.
• Ability to promptly address any issues or questions, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Proficient with various software programs, such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and learn our estimating program.
• Ability to work with changing priorities demands and deadlines while maintaining sound analytical and problem- solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of estimating experience.
• Must have a stable employment history
