Heavy Equipment and Boat Engine Maintenance Technician – Amanpulo

Role

We are looking for a Heavy Equipment and Boat Engine Maintenance Technician is responsible for the inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of heavy equipment and speed boat engines to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The position supports resort, construction, transportation, or marine activities by maintaining equipment in optimal working condition and minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on heavy equipment, speed boats, and boat engines according to established schedules.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related problems and carry out necessary repairs.
• Inspect and service diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, steering systems, cooling systems, and fuel systems.
• Conduct routine checks on boats, watercraft, and heavy equipment to ensure operational safety and reliability.
• Repair and replace defective parts, components, and accessories using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Maintain records of inspections, maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and equipment performance.
• Coordinate with supervisors regarding equipment status, repair requirements, and spare parts inventory.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency repair requests to minimize operational disruptions.
• Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition while promoting safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Technical/Vocational Diploma in Automotive Technology, Heavy Equipment Technology, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in heavy equipment and/or marine engine maintenance.
• Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and marine propulsion systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical repair skills.
• Willing to work in outdoor and marine environments and respond to emergency maintenance
