Job Description - Hospital Key Accounts Manager - Woundcare and Medical Devices

The Hospital Key Accounts Manager - Wound Care and Medical Devices is responsible for managing and growing strategic relationships with high -value clients in the healthcare sector, particularly hospitals, healthcare institutions, and major medical facilities. This role focuses on promoting and selling wound care products and medical devices, ensuring consistent account performance, client satisfaction, and business expansion.

The Hospital Key Accounts Manager - Wound Care and Medical Devices will serve as the primary point of contact for key decision -makers, procurement officers, and healthcare professionals, ensuring a deep understanding of client needs and aligning those with the company’s solutions. Success in this position requires strong sales acumen, in -depth product knowledge, and a proactive approach to building and sustaining long -term partnerships.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Promote, market, and sell wound care products and medical devices to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for medical and nursing staff.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), doctors, nurses, and procurement teams.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Submit accurate and timely sales reports, market feedback, and customer updates.
  • Participate in conferences, trade shows, and promotional events as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any medical -allied or business -related course (e.g., Nursing, Pharmacy, MedTech, Biology, Marketing).
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in medical device or pharmaceutical sales (experience in wound care is an advantage).
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to present technical information clearly and confidently.
  • Self -motivated, results -oriented, and able to work independently in the field.
  • Willing to travel and cover assigned territories regularly.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license (if applicable).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in senior -level medical sales or account management.
  • Experience with specific product lines or within specific medical specialties.
  • Advanced knowledge of healthcare regulations, on -trend industry updates, etc.
