We are looking for an experienced Hotel Operations Manager to lead hotel pre-opening, renovation/construction coordination, and post-opening operations. This role requires strong hands-on project management skills, operational knowledge, and the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders from planning through daily operations.
📌 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Pre-Opening & Project Management
Lead hotel projects from site assessment, design coordination, construction and renovation through final handover.
Evaluate site conditions, layouts, MEP systems, fire safety, renovation feasibility and project costs.
Coordinate with architects, designers, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
Manage construction schedules, quality, safety and budgets.
Coordinate engineering, procurement and operations teams to resolve project issues.
Oversee key milestones including interior fit-out, FF&E, MEP, fire protection and low-voltage systems.
Support permits, inspections and relevant regulatory procedures.
Hotel Operations
Establish practical SOPs and operating processes.
Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure service standards are consistently implemented.
Coordinate between departments to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor operational data, costs, processes and manpower planning.
Identify operational issues and implement practical solutions quickly.
Support other hotel opening and operational activities as required.
Requirements
✅ REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or above in Hotel Management, Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Project Management or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in hotel, commercial space, renovation or large-scale construction projects.
Experience managing complete hotel construction, renovation or pre-opening projects is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of hotel construction, MEP, HVAC, fire protection, decoration and site management.
Knowledge of hotel functional planning, including guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house and F&B spaces.
Strong project management skills with experience controlling schedule, quality and budget.
Ability to coordinate and manage contractors, suppliers, consultants and construction teams.
Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to work on-site for extended periods and travel when required.
Experience working on projects in the Philippines or Southeast Asia is an advantage.
Fluent English and Mandarin
