We are looking for an HR Administrator who will play a crucial part in recruitment, onboarding, staff training, workforce planning, performance management, and employee well-being.
Qualifications and Attributes
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
3+ years of HR management and recruitment experience, preferably within community services, social work, or therapeutic care sectors.
Strong understanding of Australia's employment law, Fair Work regulations, and industrial relations frameworks is highly preferred.
Ability to manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies, ensuring a well-trained workforce.
Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
High-level communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration between employees, management, and external agencies.
High attention to detail and accuracy
Duties and Responsibilities
End-to-end recruitment processes
Oversee the onboarding and induction process, ensuring new hires are well prepared for their roles
Performance management ensuring staff receive regular feedback, goal setting, and professional development opportunities
Manage employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and dispute resolution in compliance with Fair Work legislation.
Ensure all HR policies and procedures are up to date and aligned with Australian employment law.
Oversee mandatory training compliance
Ensure full compliance with Fair Work Australia, NSW employment laws, and child protection workforce regulations
Maintain all HR documentation, contracts, and personnel files
Ensure accurate record-keeping of HR data
Monitor workplace culture, employee satisfaction, and employee well-being
