Job Description - HR Generalist - People and Culture

About the Role
We’re looking for a people-first HR Generalist who’s passionate about building great employee experiences. If you enjoy recruiting cool talent, supporting employees, tracking performance, and helping shape a positive work culture—this role is for you. 🚀
This role focuses on people, culture, and operations—not payroll or benefits.

What You’ll Do

🌱 Talent Acquisition

Own the end-to-end hiring process for technical and non-technical roles
Screen candidates, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate with hiring managers
Build and maintain candidate pipelines
Support smooth onboarding and welcoming experiences for new hires

💬 Employee Engagement & Relations

Be the go-to HR person employees feel comfortable talking to
Help plan and run engagement activities (online & onsite)
Handle employee questions, concerns, and basic conflict resolution
Assist in creating and rolling out HR policies, announcements, and internal updates

⏱ Attendance & Performance Tracking

Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and leave usage
Help track performance documentation and review cycles
Coordinate with managers on attendance or performance-related concerns

📊 HR Reports & Admin

Prepare weekly and monthly HR reports (headcount, hiring status, attendance, attrition)
Keep employee records organized, accurate, and confidential
Support compliance documentation when needed

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or related field
1–2 years of HR experience, ideally with international or remote teams
Hands-on experience in recruitment and general HR operations
Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling multiple tasks
Familiar with HR tools, ATS, and Google Workspace / MS Office

Nice to Have (But Not Required)

Experience supporting tech, web hosting, or startup environments
Exposure to international HR practices
Basic knowledge of Philippine labor laws
