Job Description - HR Manager

About the Job

We seek a seasoned HR professional who deeply understands Philippine labor regulations and thrives in building a positive workplace culture. As the HR Manager for one of our portfolio companies, you will play a critical role in managing day-to-day HR operations while fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing between the teams to leverage the strengths of both organizations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience in the Philippines market.
  • Proven expertise in Philippine employment laws and regulations (DOLE).
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and navigate complex interpersonal dynamics.
  • Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Willingness to work full-time, on-site in Marikina, Philippines, with consistent physical attendance at the office.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing HR technology solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Compliance and Policy:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant Philippine labor laws and regulations (DOLE, etc.).
      Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with industry best standards.
      Serve as the primary point of contact for government audits and inquiries.
      Employee Relations and Engagement:
    • Build strong, trust-based relationships across the organization to foster a positive, collaborative, and inclusive work environment.
      Design and oversee employee engagement initiatives that are sensitive to the established culture.
      Act with sensitivity to address team morale challenges and performance concerns.
      Address employee concerns and mediate workplace conflicts promptly and with discretion.
  • HR Operations Management:
    • Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Supervise and manage the HR team, including generalists, talent acquisition, and the office manager.
    • Facilitate smooth onboarding, offboarding, and performance management processes.
    • Analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover, employee satisfaction) and collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for continuous improvement.
    • Collaborate with the office manager to ensure a functional and welcoming work environment.
    • Streamline HR Ops processes to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborative Integration:
    • Partner with Xendit's Global HR to share best practices and identify opportunities for knowledge exchange between teams.
    • Serve as a positive ambassador, highlighting the company's strengths and operational expertise.
  • Organizational Strategy:
    • Partner with senior management to drive organizational development and transformation.
