Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:
The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of the Human Resources Department, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals. This role involves leadership in areas such as recruitment, employee relations, benefits, administration, and training. The HR Manager will work closely with the CEO to ensure the HR function effectively supports the organization’s growth, fosters a positive work environment, and drives high performance across all departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the overall functions of the HR department, ensuring alignment with company goals and compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
Lead recruitment efforts by developing strategies, posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and overseeing the onboarding process for new employees.
Supervise and ensure the proper implementation of timekeeping process, ensuring accuracy in employee attendance as basis for salary disbursements.
Manage employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with government mandated benefits such as SSS, Philhealth, and Pag-IBIG, providing guidance to employee on benefit-related inquiries.
Handle employee relations, addressing grievances and resolving conflicts. Oversee the management of disciplinary actions, ensuring that issues are handled according to company policies.
Oversee personnel action movements including promotions, transfers, resignations, and terminations, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
Ensure the proper maintenance of HR records, ensuring that all documentation complies with government regulations and company standards.
Develop, implement, and monitor training programs, including new hire onboarding and ongoing development for current employees.
Prepare HR reports and analytics for upper management, providing insights on metrics such as employee turnover, training effectiveness, and compliance status.
Supervise and mentor HR staff, providing guidance and ensuring the efficient and accurate execution of HR processes.
Promote a positive workplace culture by ensuring consistent and fair application of HR policies and foster employee engagement.
