Job Description - HR Officer for Recruitment

I. Job Summary

Recruitment Officer is responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and deployment of qualified candidates to fulfill head office vacancies.

II. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify hiring needs and ensure understanding of the Job Description and qualification requirements
  • Source applicants; advertise and post job vacancies through job portals, social media, job fairs and other related events
  • Screen candidates and draw up shortlists of candidates for interview
  • Interview and assess prospective applicants
  • Organize interview schedule of Department Heads, Managing Directress and President
  • Present Job offer to selected candidates (Assistant to Supervisory level) and ensure preparation of on boarding documents before actual date start of candidate
  • Ensure that the new employees attend GOP employee orientation and are educated with the process, HR procedures and Company Policies
  • Preparation of request for tools (laptop, desktop, etc) of candidates for onboarding - for submission to Purchasing
  • Update and track recruitment monitoring of vacancies, fill rate, and other reports needed.
  • Update and revise offline/ online job advertisements
  • In charge of monitoring applications/resumes received from careers email
  • Ensure complete deployment of direct positions for all new stores 3 months prior opening
  • Assist Manager in the implementation of recruitment programs

IV. Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree holder of Human Resource related courses or any equivalent/related field
  • At least 3 years experience in recruitment preferably in a retail company
  • Expertise in recruitment process and up to date with current trends and labor law
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication tools

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Quezon City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
