Job Description

• Oversee the Project HR team to ensure value addition to the project.
• Update and correct HR Policies and Procedures, ensuring compliance with local laws.
• Apply company policies, coordinate with HQ HR departments, and manage various HR functions.
• Handle recruitment, employment, orientation, remuneration, benefits, and compliance with codes of conduct and equal employment opportunity policies.
• Manage labor relations processes, apply disciplinary measures per Project HR Policy, and inform DOLE accordingly.
• Provide support to HQ in processing immigration permits for Foreign National employees.
• Act as the custodian of work benefits standards, enact general guidelines, and make recommendations to the Project Director.
• Manage payroll for local hired and seconded employees, ensuring legal compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
• Keep HR Software (Workday) updated with staff movements, including new hires and terminations.
• Ensure compliance with client contract requirements regarding HR topics.
• Record and update the organizational chart in response to changes.

The Successful Applicant

Education:

• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A Master's degree in Human Resources Management will be greatly appreciated.

• A minimum of 10-15 years of operational experience in the HR field.
• International experience will be highly regarded.
• Prior experience in the Construction Industry is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience on-site in Major Construction Projects will be highly appreciated.

• Capability to perform effectively under high-pressure situations.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
