The HR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the Human Resources Department. This role ensures effective implementation of HR policies, compliance with labor laws, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, recruitment processes, performance management, and overall workforce administration. The HR Supervisor supervises HR staff and serves as a bridge between management and employees.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
Oversee end -to -end recruitment process (job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection).
Coordinate with department heads regarding manpower requirements.
Ensure proper background checks and completion of pre -employment requirements.
Develop recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
Maintain applicant tracking and recruitment databases.
Employee Onboarding and Offboarding
Supervise onboarding processes including orientation and documentation.
Ensure completion of employment contracts and employee records.
Handle employee resignation, termination, and clearance procedures.
Conduct exit interviews and provide reports to management.
Employee Relations and Discipline
Address employee concerns, grievances, and complaints.
Conduct administrative investigations when necessary.
Ensure proper implementation of disciplinary procedures.
Promote positive workplace culture and employee engagement activities.
Mediate conflicts between employees and departments.
Performance Management
Implement and monitor performance evaluation systems.
Assist department heads in evaluating employee performance.
Recommend training and development programs.
Monitor probationary employee evaluations.
Compensation and Benefits Administration
Supervise payroll preparation including attendance, overtime, and leave monitoring.
Ensure accurate processing of government -mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag -IBIG, etc.).
Administer company benefits such as HMO, allowances, and incentives.
Monitor employee leave balances.
Training and Development
Identify training needs and organize internal or external training programs.
Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness.
Develop employee development and performance improvement plans.
HR Administration and Reporting
Maintain and secure employee 201 files.
Prepare monthly HR reports including headcount, turnover, absenteeism, and recruitment status.
Track and update employee data such as promotions, transfers, and resignations.
Ensure confidentiality of employee information.
Company Policies Compliance
Champion the implementation of environment, health, safety, and security programs and activities to ensure a safe, secure, clean, and healthy work environment for all employees.
Champion the implementation of all management systems and quality initiatives of the company.
Take responsibility for complying with the Company’s Code of Conduct and Discipline.
Others
Actively participate in the company’s continuous improvement initiatives across business processes.
Perform other duties that may be assigned in support of department and company goals.
Requirements
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
5+ years HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Experience in recruitment, employee relations, and payroll preparation.
