Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Hiring:

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified nurses and paramedics for 1099 contractor roles.
• Create and post job listings on various platforms and job boards.
• Screen resumes and applications, and coordinate the interview and hiring process.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to hiring and employment.

Onboarding and Training:

• Oversee the onboarding process for new contractors, including the coordination of training sessions.
• Prepare and distribute necessary onboarding materials and documentation.
• Ensure new hires are well-versed in company policies, procedures, and their roles and responsibilities.

Contractor Management:

• Maintain up-to-date records of all contractors.
• Address contractor inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Monitor contractor performance, providing feedback and guidance when necessary.

Compliance and Documentation:

• Ensure all contractor files are complete and compliant with company policies and legal standards.
• Manage background checks, licensing verification, and other required documentation.
• Stay informed on HR laws and regulations specific to 1099 contractors and healthcare professionals.

HR Support and Administration:

• Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
• Support HR initiatives and projects as needed.
• Provide general HR support to the management team and contractors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations, especially those related to 1099 contractors.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software platforms.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Availability to work 8 hours per day (MST - Denver time).
