The Identity Access Administrator (IAA) is responsible for managing user accounts, groups, and roles in various business systems and applications in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures. The IAA provides technical expertise and coordination in the lifecycle of access controls that support and secure businesses and applications. This role includes the creation of policies, profiles, and groups to control access and functions based on least privilege methodology, as identified and approved by the Business Units and/or System Owners. The IAA responds to tickets related to access provisioning, de-provisioning, modifications, and in some cases, password resets. Along with ongoing support, the position will work with Project Managers, Line Managers, or System Owners, as applicable, on new projects to ensure that proper access control security standards are adhered to. The IAA initiates the conduct of periodic access reviews and attends to internal and external audit requests as the need arises.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Administer Active Directory user access, including provisioning, decommissioning, and role transfers
Administer user accounts for Solaire applications on-premises and SaaS
Administer file shares and user permissions
Administer Microsoft Office365 distribution groups, accounts, and policies
Assist users and IT operations in troubleshooting access, Multifactor Authentication (MFA), and password changes.
Ability to deploy and troubleshoot accounts, groups, policies, GPOs, and OU structures
Perform user administration of Active Directory in cooperation with other IT Teams
Share technical expertise, provide technical mentorship and cross-training to peers and team members whenever applicable
Guides project managers, line managers, or system owners in drafting the Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Matrix and ensuring that a duly approved copy is secured and maintained
Conducts Periodic Access Reviews, at least once a year, on Solaire applications managed by IAA
Work with third-party vendors to resolve access-related support issues as needed
Perform tasks as assigned to meet any audit requests
Document and update all routine procedures, track issues and concerns
Perform other duties and project work as assigned
KEY COMPETENCIES NEEDED / RELEVANT SKILLS
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Proficient with Windows shares and Active Directory users and computers
Excellent written and verbal communication
Knowledge of least privilege methodology
Willing to learn and grow knowledge in the area of data and access security principles
