• Established in 2002, BNC INGREDIENTS CORPORATION is a direct importer and established distributor of world-class ingredients from USA, Europe, and Southeast Asia for Food and Nutrition, Health, Personal Care, and Hygiene Industries. 
• We help develop world-class products with Research and Development Teams of Filipino manufacturers, and supply bulk ingredients such as: Bakery emulsifiers, Sweeteners for beverage and confectionery, Personal Care Emulsifiers, Home Care Surfactants, Disinfectants and Sanitizers, & various innovative ingredients.
• Aside from ingredients, we distribute world-class laboratory equipment such as Water Activity Meters used in food safety, and Homogenizers used in food and beverage production.

Import Buyer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reports to VP-Administration 
• In charge of importations and monitoring shipments
• Regular Coordination with foreign principals from Europe, America, Asia
• Prepares purchase orders and requisitions 
• Prepares product costing or cost computation 
• Submits actual/final costing reports to Management
• Keeps abreast of pricing trends of goods purchased
• Alignment of import requirements with Stock Inventory 
• Checks completeness and accuracy of Brokers’ Billing and Invoices
• In charge of full recovery of Returns or Customer Rejections
• Prompt settlement of claims due to complete loss, short shipments, damages and pilferages in accordance 
• In charge of Supplier Database 
• Checks completeness of supplier accreditation requirements 
• In charge of disposal of scrap, obsolete, excess and idle equipment
• Submits recommendations and analysis
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities which may be assigned from time to time.
• Products Handled: Food Additives and Ingredients, Personal Care ingredients, Laboratory Equipment 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree in any Course.
• At least 2 years Experience in Importation
• Background in Ingredients or Chemicals is an advantage. 
• Must have experience and familiarity with Customs procedures.
• Required Skill(s): Above average Communication skills, Influence, Purchasing, Monitoring, Time Management, Procurement, Negotiation
• Applicants must be willing to work in Makati City.
