Importations Officer

Job Description:

• Process Shipping documents in order to coordinate arrivals
• Responsible for ensuring Import Clearance and Compliance
• Coordinates with partner suppliers and internal departments to monitor and expedite release and receiving of shipments
• Calculates for product costs and record theses in system
• Liase with Merchandising, Warehouse, Operations and Accounting departments for proper handling turnover of inventory information including potential issues or special receiving instructions
• Monitors and escalates issue to Purchasing Head in the event of any potential problems
• Assists the Imports Officer and, assists in the training of Imports Staff assistants or team members
• Prepare and submit accurate daily / monthly reports required by Management and customers
• Performs other duties assigned

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of Custom Administration or any related course
• Familiarity with Import regulations, procedures and policies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Pro-active, detail oriented and organized
• Proficient with Microsoft office (such as Excel) or related Software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php25,000.00 per month
