The Role

We are looking for a native Indonesian speaker with fluent English to join our Localization Quality Assurance (LQA) team in Cebu, Philippines.

As an Indonesian LQA Tester, you will help ensure that games are accurately localized and provide a high-quality experience for Indonesian-speaking players.

You will test games and identify linguistic, cultural and localization issues, while working closely with our project and testing teams to ensure issues are accurately reported and followed through.

This is an opportunity to work in the gaming industry and gain experience working on international game projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Test games in Indonesian to identify localization, linguistic and cultural issues.
• Review translated text, terminology, grammar, spelling, punctuation and consistency.
• Identify issues that could affect the experience of Indonesian-speaking players.
• Verify that localized content is displayed correctly within the game.
• Accurately document and report bugs using the relevant testing tools.
• Re-test fixes and confirm that reported issues have been resolved.
• Follow project-specific testing guidelines and quality standards.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Leads and other LQA testers.
• Meet project deadlines and agreed quality standards.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout testing.
• Support different game projects and adapt to changing project requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• Native-level Indonesian language skills.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Strong interest in video games and the gaming industry.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to identify and clearly explain linguistic and localization issues.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an international team.
• Comfortable working with testing tools and learning new systems.
• Previous experience in LQA, game testing, translation, localization or QA is desirable but not essential.

Availability

Immediate availability is strongly preferred due to upcoming project requirements.
