Our client is a wholly owned Australian company manufacturing a large range of steel products including Garden Sheds and Outdoor Buildings. From its manufacturing facility in Brisbane, our client distributes an extensive range of outdoor storage products throughout Australia, as well as exporting to the Pacific region and Europe. They have been a major supplier of outdoor storage products for over 55 years. The good reputation they have built is now being recognized throughout Australia and rapidly expanding to overseas markets including New Zealand and Europe.

Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

This is an opportunity for someone with excellent attention to detail to contribute to our kit-form DIY structures product ranges that are available in markets around the world. You will collaborate with an experienced Industrial designer, the Production and Marketing teams remotely in Brisbane AUS.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other team members remotely, maintaining clear and effective communication to coordinate product development efforts.
• Create new and update existing customer-facing assets: Line drawings and realistic 3D rendering.
• Create detailed instructions on how to assemble products
• Create new and update existing internal manufacturing databases and documentation.
• Create new and update existing CAD models and technical/engineering drawings.
• Maintain and produce Bill of Materials for products
• Assist Production and Marketing teams with existing workflows.
• Take responsibility for own work and stay proactively engaged in the role.
• Always maintain confidentiality.
  
  
  

• 3-5 years of experienceQualification in Industrial Design
• Proficient in Autodesk CAD software: Inventor or 3DS Max
• Proficient in Adobe products: InDesign, Illustrator
• Proficient in Microsoft products: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint
• Strong visual and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail: exceptional attention to detail in carrying out day-to-day work.
• The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience/medium.
• Positive approach to change, you may be asked to complete non-design tasks as required.
• Good communication skills, written and spoken.
• Willing to work in Clark Pampanga

Advantageous but not required:

• Steel and Outdoor structure experience
• Building/Structural industry experience
