Job Location:

Marikina City but will be relocating to Eastwood by Q4 of 2025. 

Work Schedule: 

Full-time, Monday to Friday - 9am - 6pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Head to join our growing team at MR DIY Philippines. The IT Head is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of all information technology systems and infrastructure within the organization. This role ensures that IT operations support business goals, drive innovation, enhance efficiency, and maintain high standards of security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Leadership
- Develop and execute the organization's T strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
- Lead the IT department, manage IT budgets, and allocate resources effectively.
- Identify opportunities for the use of new technologies to Improve business processes and services.

2. Infrastructure and Operations Management
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure (hardware, software, networks, cloud services).
- Ensure maximum uptime, performance, and security of all systems

3. Cybersecurity and Risk Management
- Establish and enforce IT security policies and procedures,.
Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and implement measures to protect company data and networks.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards.

4. Project Management
- Lead major IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new software implementations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards

5. Vendor and Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with external technology vendors and service providers
- Negotiate contracts and ensure vendor performance meets expectations.

6. Team Development and Leadership
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team.
- Foster a culture of Continuous learning, innovation, and customer service excellence

7. Support and Troubleshooting
- Oversee technical support activities, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
- Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Other job-related tasks that may be assigned by his/her immediate superior from time to time.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

- 8 - 10 years of progressive IT experience including at least 3 - 5 years of a Senior leadership role

- Strong experience in infrastructure management, cybersecurity, cloud computing, ERP systems, and business applications.
- Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities

- Familiarity with cloud computing, virtualization, and other emerging technologies

- Experience with budget management and cost optimization

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
