MAGCOOP or the MagCoop Multi-Purpose Cooperative is duly registered with the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), the regulatory agency of the Philippines over matters concerning the development of cooperatives in the country.

The primary purpose of the cooperative is to engage in providing loans to members for productive and providential purpose and to provide quality consumer goods and services to members, among others.

In 1986, MAGCOOP started as Magsaysay Employees Development Cooperative, Inc. mainly as a source of financial assistance for Magsaysay employees. When the cooperative opened its membership to Magsaysay crew and allottees in 1997, it was renamed as the Magsaysay Employees, Crew and Allottees Development (MECADEC).

With the Cooperative Development Authority's approval for a multi-purpose cooperative, MECADEC was renamed and now being called as Magsaysay Multi-Purpose Cooperative (MAGCOOP).

MAGCOOP continues to take bold yet caring strokes and steps in responding to the growth of its members. Today, MAGCOOP has 22,500 members, the biggest coop in Manila and belongs to the Top 100 Cooperatives in the Philippines.

- Installing, administering, and troubleshooting network security solutions

- Updating software with the latest security patches and ensuring the proper defenses are present for each network resource

- Configuring and supporting companies Security tools such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Active Directory, SMTP Gateways, Endpoint Protection, DNS

- Facilitate yearly Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration testing

- Configuring security systems, analyzing security requirements, and recommending improvements.

- Monitoring network traffic for suspicious behavior

- Review security policies and procedures and make recommendations

- Perform security Awareness Program for the enterprise

- Consulting with 3rd party on the security best practices and technical advice

- Configuring and supporting security tools, such as firewalls and anti-virus software.

- Provide Technical support as needed

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

- Minimum of two years relevant work experience

- Familiarity with information technology concepts, relevant tools
