About the Role
As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you thrive by nurturing the relationships we have built with our clients, supporting them to partner with Telstra to unlock their business and technology challenges. Your role is critical in growing these relationships and identifying new ways for Telstra to address their strategic needs.
Key Responsibilities
As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you apply your expertise in account management, knowledge of Telstra’s capabilities and products, and awesome relationship building skills to deliver the following responsibilities:
- Take ownership for establishing and managing customer relationships through applying knowledge of their business and Telstra’s services/products to support ongoing relationship development, drive customer satisfaction and contribute to portfolio growth.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of assigned account/portfolio plans, including developing and leading the account strategy to support the retention and growth of customer portfolios.
- Take accountability for managing customer relationships, responding to queries and complaints, escalating issues and risks to more experience team members as required, to ensure timely resolution and mediation.
- Authentically collaborate with peers, team members and key stakeholders across Telstra (e.g. Business Development Managers) to identify and qualify leads in order to effectively manage the opportunity pipeline for a defined portfolio.
- Support the development of regular reporting to monitor portfolio performance against defined financial and customer targets (revenue, profitability, NPS).
- Apply knowledge of Telstra’s capabilities, market insights, and an understanding of the client’s business strategy to identify new business opportunities and achieve revenue and sales objectives for a defined portfolio.
- Actively contribute to customer initiatives (e.g. account planning sessions, campaign designs) that support the achievement of strategic business opportunities at Telstra and that have a significant degree of impact on portfolio retention and growth.
About You
To be successful in this role, you must have the following qualifications:
Essential
- Extensive experience with customer service (no preferred industry exposure)
- Mandarin proficiency
Highly desirable
- Taiwan Accounts management background
- Tertiary qualification in any discipline
- End to end sales experience (training will be provided)
- Strong stakeholder management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
