A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE
The Instructional Designer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating engaging learning solutions that enhance staff capability, performance, and business outcomes. Working within the Capability & Enablement team, this role partners closely with Training, Operations, Quality, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective learning experiences.
The Instructional Designer applies learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and modern learning technologies to create innovative training programs and performance support resources. The role ensures learning solutions are aligned with operational goals, expectations, compliance requirements, and organizational standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Training Needs Analysis
Conduct needs assessments for internal and client training programs.
Partner with Change, Capability, and Operations to determine course development needs.
Translate business/project requirements into measurable learning objectives that lead to performance outcomes.
Content Design and Development
Write and prepare storyboards, assessments, test banks, facilitator guides, and narration scripts.
Design and develop engaging learning with blended learning solutions applying instructional design concepts and methodologies.
Develop assessments, simulations, and evaluation tools to measure learning effectiveness.
Manage development timelines and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain documentation, version control, and learning asset repositories.
Research assigned topics to ensure content accuracy.
Develop and enhance web-based course content aligned to company branding and instructional design standards.
Program Implementation & Evaluation
Conduct pilot sessions and support train-the-trainer certifications.
Collaborate with LDD, Operations, and Quality teams to embed best practices into curriculum.
Maintain and update participant guides, facilitator guides, exercises, and presentations.
Measure training effectiveness using learner feedback, assessment results, and operational KPIs.
Conduct curriculum reviews and recommend updates.
Support trainer readiness through calibration and certification activities.
Ensure compliance with Information Security and Data Privacy policies.
A BIT ABOUT YOU
Strong knowledge of Instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
Experience designing eLearning, blended learning, and facilitator-led training programs.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
Hands-on experience with Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise) and Learning Management Systems.
Experience creating storyboards, facilitator guides, participant materials, assessments, audio scripts, and video scripts.
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Experience in Instructional Design, Learning & Development, or Capability Enablement, preferably in a BPO environment.
