We are seeking a confident and professional Intake Specialist to join our growing team. This role combines sales and administrative responsibilities and serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients. You'll guide potential clients through initial consultations, helping them take meaningful steps toward resolving their legal matters.
Key Responsibilities
• Schedule paid consultations with attorneys
• Screen incoming calls for case relevance to practice areas
• Apply persuasive sales techniques to build rapport and handle objections
• Collect and process consultation payments
• Take detailed notes while actively listening to callers
• Follow up with leads from web forms, referrals, and phone calls
• Draft and send customized emails with impeccable grammar and spelling
• Maintain accurate records and reports on potential clients
• Redirect non-intake calls to appropriate team members
• Minimum 1 year of proven sales experience
• Strong work history (at least 2+ years tenure in previous roles)
• Excellent English writing and grammar — proofreading assistance not provided
• Exceptional active listening skills and confident conversational control
• Ability to type at least 50 words per minute while speaking
Technical Skills
• Familiar with Microsoft Outlook
• Experience using CRM or legal case management software
Personal Attributes
• Sales-driven mindset with a “closer” mentality
• Professional and empathetic tone; able to connect while staying in control
• Background in the legal industry, particularly family law, is a plus
